Who we are !
Community Rise, formerly Tabitha Community in Action, is a grassroots nonprofit organization based in Burundi. We work to empower vulnerable communities by promoting inclusive development, economic resilience, environmental sustainability, and social justice.
Founded by Jimmy Ndihokubwayo—a passionate community leader and advocate for inclusion—Community Rise is rooted in lived experience with exclusion, poverty, and disability. We prioritize women, youth, children in vulnerable situations, refugees, and persons with disabilities, recognizing their potential to lead and transform communities when given equal opportunity and support.
